Job summary

A leading media company based in Malaysia is seeking a motivated sales professional to promote advertising packages. The role involves building client relationships and coordinating projects with internal teams. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in a related field and ideally 1-2 years of experience in sales or media. Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin are essential, as well as familiarity with digital marketing concepts. A competitive compensation package is offered, including a base salary and commissions.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and approach potential clients (corporates, brands, PR agencies, and government bodies) to promote Mahsia Media’s advertising and exposure packages, including TV, radio, news, outdoor, and digital media.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Handle client enquiries, prepare proposals and quotations, and close deals effectively.
Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Conduct follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and identify new business opportunities.
Project Coordination & Execution
  • Coordinate with internal departments (content, creative, PR, and media planning) to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Ensure client commitments are met on time and within budget.
Market Research & Business Development
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new advertising opportunities.
  • Support marketing and promotional events such as exhibitions, launches, and partnership briefings.
  • Prepare weekly sales reports, client pipelines, and payment tracking updates.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and CRM database.
Requirements
Education
