Job Description

The purpose of this role is to manage a team of media planners and assist the Business Director on a day‑to‑day basis. Demonstrate ability to map out media strategy to support brand related projects.

Responsibilities
  • Actively participate in media discussions and meetings with both internal and external parties.
  • Responsible for all plans and schedules prepared for clients.
  • Regularly update all plans and share with the Business Director and clients.
  • Regularly update clients and colleagues on new opportunities and make appropriate recommendations, including preparing competitive reviews and providing highlights and key learning.
  • Negotiate best rates for ad‑hoc campaigns and annual commitments.
  • Work closely with buyers to prepare final schedules for clients’ approvals and signatures.
  • Request client briefs and seek clarification before proceeding further to prepare media plans.
  • Attend client meetings and WIPs if required.
  • Keep immediate superior updated on status and developments in client billings and accounts.
  • Work closely with immediate superior on annual media plans.
  • Actively involved in ongoing and new business pitches with superior, preparing and carrying out presentations.
  • Satisfy clients’ research needs according to their requirements.
  • Be regularly updated and conversant in the use of AGB/Nielsen Analysis Software for planning purposes.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
  • At least a Diploma from a related discipline.
  • Good all‑round media knowledge and at least 5 years of sector experience.
  • Proficient in content marketing strategies; application experience is an added advantage.
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office applications and industry standard tools such as Nielsen.
