Mechanical Engineer (Glass manufacturing company)

- Working hours: 6 days working per week, Mon-Sat 8AM-4PM (total 42 hours working)

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and equipment.
• Support installation and commissioning of new machines.
• Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements.
• Ensure safety compliance in all mechanical works.
• Prepare basic reports on machine breakdowns and maintenance activities.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to solve technical issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Assist in process improvements, data analysis, documentation, or coordination work as needed.
• Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn new skills, adapt to new functions, and take on cross-department responsibilities.
• Uphold professional conduct, teamwork, and a positive working attitude at all times.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma /Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any Mechanical or equivalent engineering.
• Having 1-3 years related working experience.
• Posses knowledge and skill in AutoCAD
• Good communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
