Job summary

A leading manufacturing company located in Gelang Patah, Malaysia is seeking a Senior Machinist to set up and operate CNC machines efficiently. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience and a strong understanding of CNC machining processes with knowledge of Fanuc and Mazak controllers. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply. This position may require occasional work at the Singapore branch and involves training junior machinists.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines efficiently and safely.
• Run first article parts and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Perform first piece inspection and basic quality checks.
• Fabricate jigs and fixtures for proper part clamping.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Perform manual CNC programming and edit existing programs.
• Read and understand G-Code programming.
• Knowledge of GD&T is an added advantage.
• Train and guide junior machinists when required.

Qualifications

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Able to operate Fanuc and Mazak controllers.
