This role requires a proactive and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team, reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager. This role is vital for developing new robotic solutions, particularly for electronics applications. You will work closely with a team of engineers to analyze customer needs, provide expert technical solutions, and ensure that all designs adhere to applicable codes and contractual requirements. This position requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently and under pressure.

Key responsibilities

• Robotics Solution Development: Develop new robotic solutions for electronics applications in collaboration with an engineering team.

• Customer Interaction and Technical Support: Collect and analyze customer requirements to provide technical and experienced engineering solutions. Proactively develop and maintain customer relationships from a technical perspective. Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers and the internal team.

• Design and Compliance: Ensure that design and engineering work comply with applicable codes, standards, practices, and contractual requirements.

• Production and Supplier Management: Prepare all documents necessary for production and delivery related to the project. Supervise suppliers regarding the manufacturing, assembly, and testing of mechanical components.

Requirements

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in industrial automation or mechanical engineering is required.

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of working experience in automation, particularly in the robot-related white goods automation field, is essential.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SolidWorks is a requirement.

• Soft Skills: You must be capable of reading and expressing technical solutions in English. Good communication and teamwork skills are necessary. The role demands high flexibility, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work under pressure. You should be proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
