Job summary

A leading automation solution provider in Penang is looking for a candidate to design automation solutions. You will be responsible for creating quality designs to meet both internal and customer expectations while independently handling projects. Ideal applicants should possess a mechanical engineering diploma or degree and experience in the automation industry. Familiarity with pneumatics and motion controls is essential. Applicants must have strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with customers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.

Carries out conceptual and actual design for automation solution.

Strives to meet with the production and quality goals that set by the department and ensure the operation assigned completed on schedule.

Job Scope

Come out quality design to meet internal & customers’ expectation.

Explore improvement opportunities and makes proposals for corrective and preventive actions.

Prepares parts drawings, info for user manual & complete the assembly information recording.

Attend to production & customer design related issues & provide commitment on the improvement action.

Follow up closely for every single design that that been done.

Make sure the design output meet the design input.

The design must go through a proper review & verification before send out for fabrication.

Interfaces with customers and reviews with them the design for their machine or system.

Job Requirement

Diploma or Degrees in Mechanical Engineering.

Related experience in the automation industries.

Able to handle projects independently.

Capable to coordinate with customer independently.

Should possess responsibility and have strong communication and action orientated Skills.

Familiar with pneumatics and motion controls.
