Job description

This is a full-time position for a Senior Mechanical Consultant Engineer and Mechanical Drafter at HAN ASSOCIATES GROUP SDN. BHD., based in Ara Damansara, Selangor. As a Mechanical Consultant Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert technical expertise and consultation services to support the company's engineering projects and clients.

Responsibilities

• Performing detailed mechanical design and analysis for a variety of engineering projects
• Conducting site inspections, measurements, and data collection to assess project requirements
• Preparing technical reports, drawings, and specifications to document design solutions
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, civil engineers, and project managers
• Providing technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the design and construction phases
• Ensuring all work meets relevant building codes, industry standards, and client requirements
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
• Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in mechanical engineering and industry best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Mechanical Consultant Engineer or in a similar role
• Proficient in the use of CAD software, such as AutoCAD, and analytical tools
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and project teams
• Thorough understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to mechanical systems
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
