Job Title: Matron Nurse – Lead Clinical Excellence at ISEC Penang

Your Mission

To provide clinical leadership by implementing, coordinating, and overseeing the delivery of safe, high‑standard patient care across all clinical departments.

What You’ll Do

• Lead & Develop Nursing Teams – Oversee manpower planning, recruitment, deployment, and performance appraisals across all clinical areas including OT, Daycare, Clinic, and Infection Control.
• Set & Uphold Clinical Standards – Develop, implement, and monitor clinical SOPs, ensuring full compliance and continuous improvement in nursing practice.
• Drive Training & Development – Identify training needs and facilitate continuous nursing education to enhance team competency and professional growth.
• Ensure Patient Safety & Quality Care – Lead infection control initiatives, manage clinical equipment and inventory, and oversee the 8R principles in drug administration.
• Oversee Daily Clinical Operations – Ensure smooth and efficient workflow across departments, prepare for inspections/accreditations, and manage incident reporting.
• Foster a Culture of Excellence – Mentor, supervise, and inspire nursing staff to deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care.

Who We’re Looking For

• Diploma/Degree in Nursing with minimum 10 years of experience, including nursing supervision/management.
• Registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board and holding a valid APC.
• Post‑Basic in Eye/Perioperative Nursing is a strong advantage.
• Proficient in clinical SOP development, infection control, and team leadership.
• Computer literate, with excellent communication skills and a proactive, reliable attitude.
• Certified in Basic Life Support and familiar with Code Blue & fire safety procedures.
