Job summary

Job description

Responsibilities

• Determine required materials and generate purchase orders.
• Ensure materials meet specifications, quality standards, and are cost‑efficient.
• Maintain consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, supplier payments, etc.
• Track production volume and monitor customer demand patterns and purchasing trends.
• Schedule and oversee the supply and delivery of materials and products.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and distributors.
• Manage inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.
• Prepare cost estimates and performance reports.

Tasks

• Perform daily activity compliance with WI or Job standard card.
• Purchase required materials for purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, purchase orders, and supplier contracts.
• Analyze sales forecasts and production schedules to determine material requirements.
• Implement schedules for the timely procurement of materials based on production needs.
• Work closely with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in business, logistics, inventory management, or a related field preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or a PMC related position.
• Proactive, independent, responsible, and able to work among a cross‑functional team.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken) to work with Hong Kong/China counterparts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and material management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
