ZALORA is searching for a self-starter, organized, and motivated Category Manager to join its regional commercial department in Kuala Lumpur (MY). This role offers high internal growth potential and requires someone capable of going the extra mile to achieve goals. Job Description:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct regular brand review meetings (monthly, quarterly, or seasonal).
  • Support contract negotiations with new brands and suppliers.
  • Analyze internal and external environments to keep the category competitive.
  • Retain and optimize key account relationships to improve category performance.
  • Establish and grow strategic local partnerships.
  • Hire, train, and manage a team of Key Account Managers to grow and manage your merchant portfolio.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field with at least 4-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business development, or e-commerce is a plus.
  • Proven management and leadership skills, with a passion for coaching and mentoring.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent business acumen and commercial understanding.
  • Willingness to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel; experience with Looker is preferred.
