Job summary

A marketing firm in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Marketing Manager to formulate and implement marketing strategies, oversee corporate social media, and manage public relations. Responsibilities

Formulate and implement marketing strategies, develop objectives, plan programs for the company, plan, organize, coordinate and implement marketing activities (roadshow/campaign/events).

Develop and implement media plans and monitor progress and budgets.

Management and oversight of corporate social media, corporate image and reputation management campaigns.

Oversee public and media relations and serve as spokesperson when needed.

Design, implement, and facilitate annual marketing plan for the firm.

Support and facilitate development and implementation of marketing plans.

Provide strong leadership and strategic directions to ensure marketing functions are effectively managed and developed.

Ensure timeliness and efficiency of A&P activities through proper planning, control and effective communications with internal and external parties.

Formulate annual A&P and marketing plans which must be innovative and customer focused to drive sales and outlet traffic.

Formulate and implement public relations program that will enhance Company’s corporate image and reputation.

Oversee advertising and promotion strategies and implementation production.

Oversee and manage branding for company, including logo usage, messaging and brand attributes.

Recruit and maintain relations with sponsors, including media and agencies, and develop appropriate promotions.

Coordinate with the centres on the marketing promotions strategies.

Be a driver of aligning marketing strategy, plans and execution with quantitative / financial measures, controls and outcomes.

Requirements

Possess at least Degree in Marketing or Business Management.

More than 5 years’ experience in similar position in marketing field.

Possess a good leadership and communication skills.

Professional Knowledge
  • Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels.
  • Budget management skills and proficiency.
  • Professional judgment and discretion that comes from years of experience in the field.
  • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
Soft Skills and Other
  • Aggressive and Initiative with good observation skill.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Willing to travel outstation, work on weekend when required and possess own transport.

Required language(s); English and Multilingual. Need to liaise with multilingual speaking colleagues and clients to complete daily tasks.
