The marketing manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to promote the institution’s academic programs, increase student enrollment, strengthen brand positioning, and support long-term institutional growth in a competitive education landscape.
Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing & Planning
- Develop and implement annual marketing plans aligned with institutional goals and enrolment targets
- Conduct market research to identify trends, student needs, competitor positioning, and programme demand
- Manage marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective campaign execution

Student Recruitment & Enrolment Marketing
- Plan and execute student recruitment campaigns for local and international markets
- Support admissions initiatives through lead generation, conversion strategies, and enrolment funnel optimisation
- Coordinate school visits, education fairs, open days, and outreach programs

Branding & Communications
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels and materials
- Oversee development of brochures, prospectuses, websites, social media content, and advertisements
- Manage public relations, media engagement, and institutional announcements
- Manage digital platforms, including website, social media, email marketing, and online advertising
- Analyse campaign performance using data and analytics to improve ROI and conversion rates
- Oversee CRM systems and student enquiry tracking

Stakeholder & Partnership Management
- Work closely with academic departments, admissions, student services, and management
- Build and manage relationships with schools, agents, corporate partners, and industry stakeholders
- Support collaborations, MOUs, and industry-linked programme promotions

Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all marketing materials and communications comply with MOHE, MQA, TVET, and institutional guidelines
- Maintain ethical marketing practices and accurate representation of programmes and outcomes
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 5–8 years of marketing experience, preferably in the education sector
- Proven track record in student recruitment marketing and brand management
- Experience with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms
