A prominent marketing firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a skilled marketing manager responsible for formulating brand strategies and leading diverse teams. The successful candidate will analyze market trends and oversee social media operations, ensuring content aligns with marketing goals. Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5–8 years of experience in brand or digital marketing. Formulate annual and quarterly brand marketing strategies, content directions, and promotion plans.
Analyze market trends, competitor dynamics, and user needs to propose effective marketing strategies.
Oversee brand positioning, core selling point refinement, and communication planning.
Oversee the overall operations of the company’s various social media platforms.
Develop content plans, topic directions, and posting schedules to increase followers, exposure, and engagement.
Guide the team in content scripting, filming, editing, and publishing.
Responsible for creative content planning, campaign topics, trending opportunities, and brand storytelling.
Control content quality to ensure alignment with brand tone and communication goals.
Plan online and offline marketing activities and coordinate cross-department execution.
Develop strategies and monitor performance for online advertising (e.g., FB Ads, Google Ads, seeding/KOL promotions).
Analyze data across channels to continuously optimize content, ad performance, and the user conversion funnel.
Produce weekly/monthly reports to support management decision‑making.
Identify and maintain a resource pool of KOLs, influencers, and media partners.
Coordinate cooperation negotiations, campaign execution, and performance evaluation.
Manage MCN resources to ensure content exposure and ROI targets are met.
Manage content, operations, design, and advertising teams.
Set team goals, assign tasks, and monitor execution progress.
Responsible for training and capability development of team members.
Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, E-Commerce, Advertising, Public Relations, Media, or related fields.
5–8 years of experience in brand marketing, content operations, or digital marketing; team management experience is a plus.
Proven experience in building brands, growing social media accounts, or delivering successful marketing cases is preferred.
Familiar with the operating rules of major social media platforms and the algorithm mechanisms of Xiaohongshu/Douyin/Facebook/TikTok.
Experience working in brand-side marketing, advertising agencies, or MCN organizations.
Good proficiency in both Chinese and English, or fluent bilingual communication.
Strong skills in marketing planning, content creation, and copywriting.
Strong execution capability and data‑driven mindset; able to independently drive projects in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficient with advertising tools and data analytics tools (e.g., GA, Pixel, Data Dashboard).
Having influencer resources or strong communication and negotiation skills with KOLs/KOCs is an advantage.
