Why this job exists and why it is critical?

The Marketing Executive role will be mainly focusing on visual merchandising, creating point-of-purchase displays that is appealing to consumers, as well as creating advertising, promotional idea, event managements and social media content that is appealing to customers. Responsibilities

• Follow the company’s guideline to develop and maintain compelling product showcase & display in stores, events and e-commerce platform for all the brands.
• Conceptualize new designs that follow the themes of launches, event, promotions and new store opening.
• Work closely with sales and marketing team in planning the display.
• To travel to different stores and assist in displaying and ensure displays are up to standards.
• Reporting regularly on the tasks and result of all the visual merchandising of all brands.
• Knowledge of printing material and design by operating necessary equipment and software including Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Liaise with designer for creative, supplier and contractor for related matters.
• Coordinate Training for B2B customers during events or exhibitions.
• Liaise with digital agency/team to plan and align digital ads and content (e.g., static posts, videos, product reviews) with marketing campaigns.
• Brief KOLs and content creators, ensuring deliverables align with brand tone, messaging, and campaign goals.
• Monitor digital engagement and content performance to inform future campaign strategies.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Retail Management, Graphic Design, Interior Design or equivalent.
• Minimum 1‑2 years of experience in Retail Marketing or Visual Merchandising.
• Strong eye for detail, design and aesthetics.
• Required language(s): English.
• Preferred language(s): Bahasa or Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking counterparts.
• At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Candidates with additional experience related to Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator software will be an added advantage.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Shah Alam.
