Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Produce creative photo and video content (willing to be on-screen) for social media and digital platforms. Develop content tailored to the Penang and northern Malaysia audience style and trends. Collaborate with the HQ marketing team for campaign alignment and content planning.
  • Marketing Execution: Support outlet-level marketing initiatives, promotions, and events. Monitor and report on campaign performance and provide local market insights. Assist in managing social media engagement and online community interactions.
  • Brand Representation: Be the face and voice of Dr Chong Clinic for local campaigns, influencer collaborations, and community engagements. Ensure consistent brand image and messaging across all marketing touchpoints.
  • Market & Competitor Insights: Stay up-to-date with local market trends, competitors, and audience behaviour in Penang, Ipoh, and surrounding areas. Provide feedback and recommendations to the HQ team for campaign adjustments.
  • Travel & Coordination: Travel occasionally to other outstation outlets (e.g. Ipoh) for marketing activities, content shoots, or events. Coordinate with local outlet teams to ensure smooth execution of campaigns.
Qualifications
  • Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or related fields.
  • 1–2 years of experience in content creation, social media marketing, or digital marketing.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera and creating personality-driven content.
  • Strong understanding of Penang and northern Malaysia culture, lifestyle, and audience preferences.
  • Creative, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to other states.
Working Arrangement
  • Hybrid / Work-from-home arrangement after probation period.
  • Based in Georgetown outlet for the initial reporting period.
