Job Purpose

The Marketing Executive supports the advancement of ISKL’s reputation by assisting in the delivery of high-quality marketing communications. This role focuses on the tactical execution of the department's content calendar and the day‑to‑day creation of marketing assets. This role ensures projects stay on schedule through diligent logistical coordination, assists in maintaining the school's digital asset bank, and contributes to the production of compelling copy and multimedia content. By providing reliable operational and creative support, the Marketing Executive helps the team achieve its goals of engaging prospective families and the school community.

Responsibilities (inclusive but not limited to)

Content Execution & Support

  • Drafting & Copywriting: Assists in researching and drafting content for social media, eDMs, and press releases based on established brand guidelines.
  • Asset Creation: Supports the production of multimedia content by shooting and editing video shorts and reels for social channels.
  • Campaign Implementation: Contributes to the execution of tactical marketing campaigns (online and offline) to help drive admissions inquiries and alumni engagement.
  • Collateral Maintenance: Assists in maintaining the high quality of marketing and communication materials.

Logistical & Workflow Coordination

  • Calendar Maintenance: Maintains the master content calendar, ensuring it is kept current and reflects all planned interviews and campaign launches.
  • Logistical Support: Coordinates the scheduling of internal and external interviews and assists with the logistics of photoshoots.
  • Workflow Monitoring: Tracks the status of content projects, sending reminders to team members to help ensure internal review deadlines are met.
  • Media Liaison Support: Acts as a point of contact for external media partners to deliver assets and ensure specifications are met.

Asset Management & Reporting

  • Digital Asset Care: Assists in organizing and tagging the school’s photo and video asset bank to ensure files are searchable and compliant with PDPA regulations.
  • Performance Tracking: Collects data and generates periodic reports on marketing performance for the team lead’s review.
  • Administrative Support: Provides logistical and research assistance during the planning phases of new campaigns.
  • Interdepartmental Liaison: Works with departments such as Admissions and IT to coordinate permissions and access for content creation.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in Canva and basic video editing software (CapCut, Premiere Rush, or similar). Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar)
  • Experience using a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system or managing large‑scale cloud‑based file libraries is an advantage.
  • Hands‑on experience managing professional accounts on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Understanding of PDPA requirements related to marketing and digital communications.

Qualifications and Experience Preferred
  • Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or equivalent
  • Relevant working experience in a similar capacity preferred
