A leading retail department store in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Marketing Executive to develop marketing plans and manage budget strategies. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years in a similar role, strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, and experience in creating effective marketing campaigns. Working closely with the head of the department in developing marketing plans and strategies.
Responsible for budget management & media planning, event execution, coordinating and liaising with a range of stakeholders, including vendors/suppliers, sales floor operations, colleagues, and partner organizations.
Take charge of set-up and all related coordination works, sourcing and securing the best deals for the company.
Basic writing and proofreading copy and content verification with stakeholders, including immediate superior, sales departments, and suppliers.
Coordination with the designer and copywriter on artwork preparation and content checking for Press Release for major events and festive periods.
Coordination on publicity materials, both digital and traditional marketing, such as flyers, newspapers, radio ads, Google Display Network, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Telegram, e-Newsletter, etc.
Liaison with media houses, Government bodies (Ministries & DBKL), and banks.
Liaising with printers, POS Malaysia, and the mailing house to ensure effective distribution of marketing materials and the sales department on promotion and marketing support.
Evaluate marketing campaigns and monitor competitor activities.
