Job Description

Retail Marketing:

Responsible in creating monthly promotional mailer and online newsletter (Promotion and Infographic EDM) for the brand from content ideation, product promotion planning, artwork design, artwork checking, and approval with various departments and stakeholders, and organize the distribution through various channels through the company’s CRM system.

Key person to update monthly and ad hoc promotional settings in company's POS system, including checking and troubleshooting on errors and issues.

Update spreadsheets, databases, and marketing expenses report on monthly basis.

Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success.

Responsible on POSM printing and allocation for stores on monthly basis or as is needed.

Plan and implement advertising and promotional campaigns to support the retail team and to drive sales for the brand.

Marketing Administrative:

Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities.

Digital Marketing:

To help plan and execute digital strategy to build a lasting digital connection with consumers by working closely with HQ Performance Marketing team and local country e-Commerce team.

Acquire insight into online marketing trends and keep strategies up to date.

Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update brand website to ensure that all content is fresh, relevant, and engaging to customers, and developing online assets like banners, article content, and other necessary content.

Track and measure performance of digital marketing efforts using Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.) and create timely reports across the digital portfolio.

Social Media Marketing:

Plan and monitor ongoing brand presence on social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)

Develop social media assets that can engage the audience with various kinds of photography or video-based content for marketing purposes and brand awareness.

Always be up to date on the current trend and monitor competitor social media, websites, and email newsletters for best practices.

Responsible for tracking marketing campaign performance and preparing reports for submission.

Ensure brand and design as per the brand guidelines, with consistency of the design.

Work with internal and external vendors whenever required.

Provide administrative support and other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Assist in planning and monitoring advertising and promotional spend and budget.

Prerequisites:

Experience in the retail business would be an added advantage.

Relevant working experience in Copywriting or Social Media platform, creative and with attention to details, social media Savvy.

Has a good understanding of consumer behavior and trends.

Hardworking, hands-on, and result-oriented person.

Able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.

Experience in Google Analytics and digital media optimization.

Demonstrated excellent ability to write, edit, and proofread content.

Meticulous and creative with organization skills.

A good team player with a passion for marketing, branding, and retail business.

Confident and comfortable with liaising with agencies and negotiating with suppliers.

Possess own transport and willing to travel.

Job Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Advertising, Communications, Marketing, Digital Marketing, or equivalent.

At least 1-3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Strong command of English & Malay language in verbal and written. Must be able to write and review marketing materials, press releases, and site content.
