A manufacturing company in Malaysia seeks a production planner coordinator to monitor production plans and liaise with customers on shipments and forecasts. The ideal candidate will manage coordination with sub-con partners, attend budget meetings, and participate in new projects for sample production. Responsibilities include negotiating shipments and ensuring budget progress is followed up. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential in this dynamic role.
Monitor and coordinate planner for the production plan to internal operation and to sub-con partners. Manage to understand the daily operation condition and work together with planners for any coordination whenever needed.
Review weekly/monthly sub-con/packaging purchase item/raw material from planners in order to support monthly production usage.
Liaise with customer (email and verbal) for the shipment plan and forecast plan. He/She has the access to log in every customer system website. He/She will download the forecast information and compile all the data in weekly basis to monitor the order changes. He/She will report the order information to superior by weekly basis. He/She will assist in monitoring the sales achievement and will negotiate with customer to push for more shipments.
Attend to every customers’ shipments/reports requirement. He/She will communicate with Planner for the shipment scheduling and negotiate with customer if provided shipment plan doesn’t meet the expectation.
Attend to company budget meeting. Will follow up the budget progress with planner & sourcing team by weekly basis to understand the actual budget achievement progress.
Liaise with Planner and monitor the daily production achievement. Coordinate with Planner if any shipment adjustment is required.
To participate in new project that lead by Marketing Manager. He/She will liaise with planner to plan out the requested samples in production schedule and ensure the samples are being produced as per required timing.
To response on customers’ new/modification requirement. He/She will issue ECR (Engineering Change Report) to the Engineering Department after confirmation from Marketing Manager/Marketing Manager. All the ECR needs to be acknowledged by internal operations.
