The Marketing & Branding Manager for Ayam Gepuk AG is responsible for strengthening the brand’s presence in the competitive F&B landscape, driving customer traffic, and elevating overall brand experience across all outlets. This role focuses on marketing strategy, brand consistency, digital engagement, and promotional execution tailored to Ayam Gepuk AG’s unique identity as a spicy Indonesian-Malaysian fusion fast-casual concept.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Development
- Develop and refine the brand direction for Ayam Gepuk AG across all outlets, packaging, menu design, staff uniforms, and digital platforms.
- Ensure brand consistency in visual identity, messaging, and customer experience.
- Conduct competitor analysis within the local ayam geprek/ayam penyet/QSR category to stay ahead of trends and consumer preferences.
Marketing Campaigns & Promotions
- Plan and execute promotional activities aligned with Ayam Gepuk AG’s brand positioning (e.g., spicy challenges, student deals, combo sets, seasonal promotions).
- Launch new menu items, limited-time offers, and outlet openings with creative campaigns.
- Liaise with operations and kitchen teams to highlight hero dishes and maintain strong food presentation standards.
- Lead creative direction for food photography, videography, and social media content.
Digital Marketing & Social Media
- Manage Ayam Gepuk AG’s social media accounts including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
- Create engaging content such as spicy food challenges, behind-the-scenes preparation, influencer tastings, and customer experience videos.
- Plan and monitor digital advertising (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Ads).
- Collaborate with food influencers, local bloggers, and university communities to increase brand visibility.
Market Research & Performance Analysis
- Track sales performance of menu items, promotions, and store-specific campaigns.
- Study food trends, competitor offerings, and price positioning to ensure Ayam Gepuk AG remains competitive.
- Prepare monthly marketing performance reports with actionable insights.
Collaboration & Internal Coordination
- Work closely with the operations, culinary, finance, and management team to align on promotions, costings, and store execution.
- Manage external partners (designers, agencies, influencers, delivery platforms, printers).
- Support franchise development marketing and ensure brand compliance for franchise outlets (if applicable).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 2-3 years of marketing experience in F&B/QSR, preferably with multi-outlet brands.
- Strong understanding of Malaysian F&B consumer behavior and digital trends.
- Skilled in content creation, food photography direction, design briefing, and social media management.
- Experience in managing delivery platforms and local influencer campaigns.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
