Market Insight Analyst (Media Agency Background)
The Insights Analyst is responsible for driving data-informed marketing decisions by translating consumer, market, and business data into actionable insights. This role supports strategic planning, campaign optimization, product development, and overall business growth by delivering high-quality research, analytics, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with creative, media, PR & Social, and activation agencies on quarterly performance review workshops – prepare campaign post‑mortem reports, KPI trackers, and sales data reports.
- Identify optimization opportunities and present findings in clear, actionable formats to improve ROI and overall marketing effectiveness.
- Collect and analyze data on consumer behavior, cultural shifts, competitor activities, and category trends.
- Conduct research (quantitative, qualitative, digital/social listening) to uncover insights that guide strategy.
- Identify emerging market trends, consumer behaviors, and category dynamics to inform marketing and product strategies.
- Work with the marketing team to translate research findings into campaign concepts, target audience profiles, and messaging strategies.
- Assist in implementing brand strategy/architecture across categories, ensuring messaging and positioning consistency.
- Contribute to the preparation of campaign briefs and align execution teams with strategic objectives.
- Assist in the development of marketing strategies by providing data‑driven insights.
- Support content planning through research on relevant topics, audience pain points, and best‑performing formats.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Communications, or any related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in marketing strategy, brand management, media analysis, or market research.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Workspace, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong multitasking, prioritization, attention to detail, consumer & market awareness, and ability to streamline work processes.
