Job summary

A manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking an Accounts Manager/Finance Manager to oversee financial management and operations within the finance department. This role involves generating and analyzing financial data, compiling accounts reports, and liaising with financial partners. Ideal candidates have a minimum of 8 years of accounting/auditing experience and hold a relevant degree or certification. Proficiency in accounting systems and Mandarin is preferred, along with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree in Accounting or Professional certificate, ACCA/CPA.
• At least 8 years of experience in accounting/auditing field.
• Proficiency in financial systems, with knowledge of OBM and Epicor highly preferred.
• Good interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting/ financial system.
• Proactive and resourceful.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial management duties including generating and analyzing financial data.
• Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance department.
• Liaise with company's bankers, auditors, and tax agent.
