Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Penang is seeking an Engineering professional to provide equipment and process support in PCBA manufacturing. The role involves leading improvements in operational efficiency and setting up key operational documentation. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, with fresh graduates encouraged to apply. Relevant experience with SMT equipment is a plus. This is a Full-Time position open to Malaysian citizens or those with the appropriate residence status.

Responsibilities

• Provide PCBA manufacturing equipment engineering support.
• Lead project improvement on Lean manufacturing/OEE/Operation efficiency.
• Setup Work Instruction, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, Preventive Maintanance and Training related to SMT equipment operation.
• Work with external supplier and internal cross functional teams to resolve issues related to equipment and manufacturing process.
• Continuous equipment and manufacturing operation process improvement.
• Provide technical support to value stream team in order to achieve business and quality indices.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing engineering or equivalent.
• Fresh gratuated is accepted. Working experience in SMT Chip placement equipment or PCB assembly manufacturing would be an added advantage.
• Well verse with statistical tools, IOT, Industry 4.0.
• Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
