Manual tester or Software Quality Assurance (Telco industry)

The Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer role will be responsible for providing end‑to‑end user and business support for testing and quality assurance of the solution during project delivery. The QA is expected to:

• Test requirement analysis, write test cases, and produce test reports to ensure test quality.
• Provide end‑to‑end user and business support for the solution and application in project delivery.
• Assist and execute test cases for new application requirements.
• Troubleshoot and analyze application issues.
• Manage and deploy application fixes / version releases into various test environments.
• Perform testing and quality assurance tasks independently.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Experience with ERP systems, digital applications, and mobile applications.
• Experience in the telecommunications sector is an advantage.
• Understanding of Unix, Linux, programming, database and SQL concepts.
• Analytical mind and problem‑solving attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good communication skills in English; speaking Mandarin is an advantage but not required.
• Good understanding of DevOps, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD); proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia or English.
