Job summary

A leading retail technology firm based in Puchong, Malaysia, is looking for an experienced accountant to manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and possess at least a year of relevant experience. Responsibilities include ledger postings, bank reconciliations, and preparing financial statements in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience in accounting or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, including ledgers, debits, and credits.
• Experience in handling full set of accounts will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting operations, including ledger postings and debit/credit entries.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support month-end closing activities.
• Prepare and perform bank reconciliations to ensure transaction accuracy.
• Organize, maintain, and properly file accounting documents and records.
• Assist in the preparation of accounting reports and financial statements as required.
• Work closely with management and team members to ensure smooth finance operations.
