Job summary

A leading financial services company in Malaysia is seeking a Manager for TCEV Finance & Support Services. This role requires expertise in financial forecasting, compliance management, and strong stakeholder coordination. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience and a degree in a related field. Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation of TCEV’s Annual Operating Plan (AOP), financial forecasts, and management reports.
  • Prepare detailed project financial models and cashflows for Board deliberation, funding applications, and external financing approvals.
  • Monitor project and operational cashflows to ensure sufficient liquidity for development and working capital needs.
  • Manage accounting operations including reconciliations, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements in compliance with MFRS.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and financial institutions to ensure compliance with statutory, financing, and reporting requirements.
Governance & Compliance
  • Implement and enforce TCEV’s Authority Matrix, corporate policies, and internal control frameworks.
  • Ensure all corporate decisions and expenditures comply with the Joint Venture and Shareholders Agreement (JVSA), Shareholders and Board Reserved Matters.
  • Coordinate Board and management reporting and statutory filings.
Support Services Management
  • Coordinate procurement and vendor management processes, ensuring transparency and compliance together with PMB’s procurement team.
  • Support HR administrative functions and coordinate with shareholders’ support teams for shared services.
  • Lead insurance placement, contract documentation, and general administration of the company.
Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as liaison between TCEV, PMB/PLUS Berhad/Terra PLUS, and GEV finance teams on reporting, consolidation, and corporate service fee matters.
  • Coordinate with banks, consultants, and external parties on project financing, disbursements, and compliance.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Business/ Accounting/ Finance/ Economics or any relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or corporate services.
