As a Head of Logistics, the primary role is to oversee and manage the logistics team, including drivers and support staff, ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant operations. This role is responsible for managing fleet maintenance, cost efficiency, HSE and DOE compliance, reporting, training, and administrative support while continuously improving processes and service standards.

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Supervise and manage a team of drivers and support staff, ensuring daily operations run efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement proactive plans for the maintenance and servicing of trucks and equipment, ensuring operations stay within budget and vehicles are fit for purpose.
  • Establish and drive cost efficiency by proposing budgets, monitoring expenses, and controlling operational costs.
  • Ensure strict compliance with HSE and DOE requirements, including licenses, driver screenings, physical checks, and annual reviews.
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, conducting audits, monitoring programs, and ensuring adherence to safety standards across all operations.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly performance reports, highlighting logistics performance, costs, and compliance status.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve operational issues while driving process improvements and enhancing the customer experience.
  • Monitor and optimize route planning and delivery schedules to increase operational efficiency and service performance.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing for licenses, permits, and vehicle records for auditing and compliance purposes.
  • Track and monitor fuel usage, driver performance, and fleet utilization to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.
JOB REQUIREMENT
  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Logistics/Transportation, Business Administration Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of working experience, preferably in the petrochemical, oil and gas, or logistics industry.
