A prominent global logistics company is seeking a Manager, Human Resource in Shah Alam, Malaysia. This strategic role focuses on driving HR initiatives in talent management, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and technical HR skills, with a proven track record of at least 6 years in HR, including a minimum of 3 years in a managerial position. You’ll lead HR initiatives across workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations—playing a key role in shaping a strong, engaged workplace culture.

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational objectives, acting as a key business partner to country management.
Talent Management: Oversee recruitment, performance management, and employee development initiatives to attract, retain, and grow top talent.
Employee Relations: Advise managers on complex issues, ensuring fair resolutions while maintaining compliance with Malaysian labour laws.
Compensation & Benefits: Manage programs to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity, keeping the organization attractive to current and potential employees.
Learning & Development: Lead training programs that enhance employee skills and support career growth, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to employment laws and provide insightful HR metrics to guide management decision-making.
Culture & Engagement: Drive initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture and boost employee engagement across the organization.
HR Leadership Experience: Ideally 6-10 years in HR with at least 3 years in a leadership role, demonstrating a track record of managing full-spectrum HR functions.
Strategic Thinker: Ability to translate business needs into effective HR solutions, with experience in strategic HR planning and change management.
People Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities, with high emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills.
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of HRIS systems like SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or Oracle, along with strong data analysis and reporting skills.
Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with Malaysian labour laws and employment regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's in HR or professional certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
M&A Experience: While not required, experience with HR aspects of mergers and acquisitions would be highly valued.
