A leading glove manufacturing company in Malaysia seeks an experienced HR business advisor to lead people strategies and initiatives. You will drive the organization's people agenda, enhance workplace relationships, and engage effectively with employees and management. The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a similar field. This role aims to establish a performance culture and an engaged workforce, ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.

OVERVIEW

This role among others covers HR business advisory, succession planning, career mobility, employment engagement, performance management and leadership engagement.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Live the Hartalega culture, strengthen the culture systematically or organically with people processes.
Drive and communicate Hartalega’s people agenda and initiatives.
Provide sound and timely HR consulting/advisory to the business and be a proactive partner to the business and active sparring partner to HR functions.
Support HR centre of excellence in deploying strategic HR programmes not limiting to performance management, succession planning, leadership engagement, manpower planning, leadership coaching, and other.
Support policy development and deployment to the right stakeholders.
Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Manage and resolve people issues by engaging relevant stakeholders and secure alignment and buy in.
Support workplace diagnostic and solutions collaboratively.
Support the facilitation of the employee engagement process and act as change agent to drive the application in enabling a performance culture & engaged workforce.
Provide employees and managers with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues; escalates concerns beyond their scope to relevant HR functions; navigates employees and manager to HR Services when it is the more appropriate resource.
Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment.
Any other tasks assigned by the superior.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Bachelor Degree/Post Graduate qualification in Human Resource Management / Talent / Business Administration or equivalent.
Work Experience:
Minimum 8 years of experience with similar roles and responsibilities preferred.
Worked in organisations with multi-layered interfaces.
Technical and Professional Knowledge:
Coach.
Industrial and employee relations.
Stakeholder leadership that includes non-technical risks / ESG, communities and external parties.
