Role Description

Behn Meyer Specialties (M) PLT' is seeking an experienced Manager - Financial Analyst and Reporting to join our dynamic team in Subang Jaya, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a key role in overseeing the preparation, analysis and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports to support strategic decision-making.

The Job
  • Manage group financial consolidation across business units and subsidiaries, including intercompany reconciliations.
  • Lead the preparation, consolidation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
  • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide in-depth financial analysis and performance insights to support strategic decision-making by senior management.
  • Develop and implement reporting frameworks, dashboards and KPIs t enhance financial visibility and control.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate financial performance and recommend improvement initiatives.
  • Drive process improvements, automation and system enhancements within the financial reporting function.
  • Lead and mentor the financial analyst and reporting team, fostering continuous learning and performance excellence.
  • Support external and internal audit activities by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
  • Monitor key financial trends, risks and opportunities to support proactive business planning.
The Person
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or professional accounting qualification e.g. ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA, CPA.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in accounting and financial analysis with at least 3 years in senior position.
  • Proficient in SAP modules and regional SAP support processes.
  • Strong communication, leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strategic thinking and business acumen.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Upholds ethical standards, confidentiality and data integrity.
