Awantec is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Data & AI Business Analyst Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business objectives and technology solutions, particularly within the realm of cloud-based services, system integration, and digital transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will lead complex business analysis efforts, drive process optimisation, and provide critical insights to inform strategic decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and qualifying clients by analysing their data needs, challenges, and opportunities for leveraging analytics & AI solutions.
- Help translate technical features of data analytics and Generative AI solutions into clear business value propositions tailored to client objectives.
- Contribute to preparing presentations, demonstrations, and proof‑of‑concepts to showcase the effectiveness and potential of our analytics & AI solutions.
- Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems and enhance data‑analytic & AI‑driven applications.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including data scientists and software engineers, to integrate AI solutions into existing products and services.
- Conduct data analysis, preprocessing, and feature engineering to extract valuable insights from large datasets, improving model performance.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI, data analytics, and machine learning, and incorporate them into AI development projects.
- Optimise Data Analytics & AI models for performance, scalability, and efficiency, leveraging cloud‑based resources and distributed computing frameworks.
- Actively participate in code reviews and collaborative problem‑solving sessions, contributing to the improvement of AI & Data Analytics solutions and development processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve AI and Data analytics‑related issues, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of AI‑driven applications.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading of large and complex data sets from various source systems.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and testing within ETL processes.
- Assist in developing proposals and responses to RFPs/RFQs, ensuring alignment with client needs and analytics & AI capabilities.
- Stay informed on the latest trends in data science, analytics, and AI technologies, and provide insights on how these innovations can enhance business outcomes.
- Provide hands‑on support in data collection, preparation, analysis, and visualisation for client projects, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of the insights.
- Assist in documenting business processes and creating reports that enable data‑driven decision‑making and strategic planning for clients.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of 7‑10 years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst (Data Analytic & AI) and experience Google Solution and Products.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technology projects, preferably within cloud computing, system integration, or enterprise software environments.
- Expertise in requirements gathering techniques (e.g., interviews, workshops, use cases, user stories), process modeling (e.g., BPMN, flowcharts), and data analysis.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau).
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL, Looker, Power BI, Tableau is crucial for data manipulation and analysis.
- Machine Learning Algorithms: Understanding algorithms used in predictive analytics to forecast trends and build models.
- Neural Networks: Familiarity with deep learning techniques that enable pattern recognition within large datasets.
- Data Visualization: Skills in tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries such as Matplotlib and Seaborn to create intuitive dashboards.
- Big Data Technologies: Knowledge of frameworks like Hadoop and Spark to handle and process massive amounts of big data.
