A leading aviation company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced professional to lead commercial negotiations and manage GSA tender processes. Job description

Lead and manage the negotiation of special prorate agreements with interline partners to support network expansion and revenue growth.

Oversee the biannual General Sales Agent (GSA) tender process, including contract negotiations, agreement management, and performance evaluation across all GSA stations.

Drive the sourcing and management of trucking partners for truck flight operations, ensuring competitive pricing, service excellence, and operational reliability.

Develop and deliver value-added commercial solutions to charterers through transhipment options via road, air, and interline transfers.

Provide overall commercial oversight for all Malaysia stations, ensuring alignment with company objectives and operational effectiveness.

Review, analyse, and present monthly commercial performance reports to the Head of Commercial, covering GSA performance and trucking operations.

Support and guide station managers and the sales team in conducting sales visits and strengthening relationships with appointed freight forwarders across Malaysia, including BKI, LBU, PEN, KCH, and KUL.

Manage and follow through on charterer enquiries assigned by the Head of Department, ensuring timely execution and successful project initiation.

Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive commercial strategies, improve processes, and support sustainable business growth.

Job Requirements
  • Holds a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in business development, commercial, or sales, demonstrating consistent success and results.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Skilled in analyzing and reporting commercial and operational performance.
