Job summary

A financial services firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Manager for Client Coverage to build and manage relationships with high-net-worth clients. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related field, with at least 3 years of sales experience, preferably in HNW banking or brokerage. Role includes achieving sales targets and providing market insights. Fluency in English is required, with Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu as advantages.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales-related role, preferred HNW or institutional banking experience.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu is an added advantage.
  • CMSRL dealing in securities license holder is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, expand, and manage new and existing high-net-worth clients.
  • Achieve assigned team sales targets.
  • Attend corporate events and briefings to stay updated on market developments.
  • Maintain proper client documentation in compliance with policies.
  • Track market trends and provide daily briefs to clients.

Job purpose:

The role involves expanding and managing the base of high-net-worth (HNW) clients while building strong rapport and maintaining lasting relationships with them. It includes assisting and servicing HNW clients to help them achieve their investment goals, as well as advising them on investment portfolios and market opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify, expand, and manage new and existing high-net-worth (HNW) and institutional clients
  • Achieve assigned team sales targets
  • Attend corporate events, briefings and webinars to stay updated on market developments
  • Maintain proper client documentation in compliance with regulatory and company policies
  • Track market trends, company news and economic events to brief clients daily

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales-related role; experience in HNW or institutional banking, brokerage, or private wealth is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English; proficiency in Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu is an added advantage

  • Ability to adhere to all relevant rules and regulations
  • Knowledge of the stock market and investments is a plus
