Job description

Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot machine faults in press machines, glazing lines, kilns, conveyors, and other plant equipment.
• Conduct minor repairs and adjustments to maintain machine reliability.

Production Support

• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Support production teams in maintaining stable and efficient operations.
• Ensure machines are correctly set up for production runs according to SOPs.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure maintenance work does not compromise product quality.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, and ISO/plant standards consistently.
• Report recurring issues and recommend solutions to prevent defects or downtime.

Safety & Workplace Practices

• Adhere to safety protocols, PPE requirements, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions or potential hazards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards).

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and preventive maintenance checklists.
• Document machine downtime, repairs performed, and parts replaced.
• Provide timely reports to supervisors or engineers regarding equipment status.
• Suggest improvements to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Participate in lean initiatives, kaizen projects, or process improvement activities.
• Contribute ideas to reduce waste, improve maintenance practices, and increase uptime.
