We are seeking experienced and highly skilled professionals to lead and oversee the daily operations of our state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing plant in Malacca. This role calls for a detail‑oriented and analytical leader with strong communication and management skills to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will collaborate across departments, providing valuable insights, guidance, and strategic support to drive operational excellence and achieve business goals in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Your Role in Our Team
  • A. Electrical Maintenance
    • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, motors, panels, switchboards, and lighting systems.
    • Troubleshoot and repair electrical breakdowns promptly to minimize production downtime.
    • Conduct electrical wiring, installation, and modification work according to technical drawings and wiring standards.
    • Support the commissioning and testing of new equipment and machinery.
  • B. Chargeman / SKM‑Specific Duties
    • If Chargeman‑certified, operate and maintain electrical systems (LV/HV) according to Suruhanjaya Tenaga regulations and ensure all work complies with Electricity Supply Act 1990.
    • If SKM‑certified, assist in electrical works under supervision and follow technical and safety guidelines as per SKM competency standards.
    • Perform inspection and testing of electrical installations and report any non‑conformities.
  • C. Safety & Compliance
    • Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Permit‑to‑Work (PTW) procedures for all electrical jobs.
    • Maintain and update electrical maintenance records, checklists, and logs.
    • Ensure all electrical works comply with Energy Commission, DOSH, and company safety regulations.
    • Identify and report any unsafe electrical practices or equipment.
  • D. Continuous Improvement
    • Participate in root cause analysis for electrical failures and propose corrective actions.
    • Support energy‑saving and efficiency improvement projects.
    • Assist in training and guiding junior technicians or operators on basic electrical safety.
Who We’re Looking For
Education & Certification
  • Possess Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 2 or 3 in Electrical Installation / Industrial Electrical Maintenance OR
  • Valid Chargeman Certificate (A0, A1, A4, or B0) issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission).
Experience
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in manufacturing, utilities, or heavy industry.
  • Familiar with motor control systems, power distribution, and PLC wiring (advantage).
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and single‑line diagrams.
  • Good understanding of industrial safety practices and 5S principles.
  • Team player with good communication and problem‑solving skills.
