Job description

This is a full-time role as a Maintenance Supervisor at MEDAN USAHA MANAGEMENT' based in Perlis. As Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance activities for the company's facilities and equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

What you'll be doing

• Plan, organise and direct the maintenance activities of the team to meet operational and safety requirements
• Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance technicians and contractors to ensure timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks
• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement, recommending and implementing corrective actions as needed
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with relevant regulations, policies and procedures
• Prepare maintenance reports, budgets and other documentation as required
• Liaise with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimise disruptions
• Provide training and guidance to the maintenance team to develop their skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

• Relevant degree or diploma in Building Services or a similar technical discipline
• Minimum 1 years' experience in a maintenance or engineering supervisory role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of industrial equipment, machinery and maintenance best practices
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
• Proficient in using computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
• Ability to work well in a team and mentor junior members of the maintenance crew
