Maintenance Specialist /Engineer (Precast Manufacturing)

The Role:
This position is responsible for preventive maintenance activities, to resolve and troubleshoot all the issues related to Hollow Core Machine and Equipment, electrical, mechanical and other related tools. Must ensure the production machines; equipment & tools are functioning in full operational efficiency in Hollow Core plant.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise a group of workers and perform repairing work according to the work orders.

Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing all kind of machinery and equipment, all types of machines under Hollow core plant (Extruder, Cutting Saw, Stressing jack, Drill machine /Overhead crane / Gantry Crane).

To diagnose the faulty and provide an instant solution to make good of the production facilities.

To provide technical support to the technical team during machine installation, testing and commissioning.

To plan & execute preventive and corrective maintenance requirement.

To generate machine breakdown reports and propose a recovery plan.

Perform preventive maintenance and safety at the workplace.

To prepare breakdown reports and discuss with immediate superior.

Provide constructive feedback to production supervisor / Management when required.

Any other job function assigned, and new responsibilities as may be added as and when necessary from time to time.

Qualifications

Minimum Diploma/ Technical Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics or Industrial Maintenance.

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering would be advantageous, especially for troubleshooting and preventive maintenance planning.

Minimum: 3 years of experience in maintenance or supervision in manufacturing/industrial environments, ideally in precast concrete or hollow core production.

Supervisory Experience: Prior experience leading a team of workers (e.g., welders, general workers).

Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
