Job Overview

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety. This role supports preventive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance programs while coordinating resources, materials, and manpower to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain maintenance plans and schedules (preventive and corrective)
  • Prepare detailed work orders including scope, materials, manpower, tools, and permits
  • Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and Contractors to ensure smooth execution
  • Monitor maintenance performance, backlog, and schedule compliance
  • Support shutdown/turnaround maintenance planning when required
  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies and company standards
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in maintenance planning
  • Experience in CMMS (SAP PM, Maximo, Oracle, etc.)
  • Knowledge of maintenance workflows, spare parts management, and equipment planning
  • Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills
