Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Chemor, Perak, is seeking a Maintenance Manager responsible for maintaining equipment, machinery, and facilities. The ideal candidate will implement preventive maintenance programs and ensure all operations comply with safety regulations. A Degree in Engineering and experience in the Fibre-Cement industry are highly desirable. This role offers an opportunity to drive efficiency and improve machine productivity within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of manufacturing management experience in the Fibre-Cement industry is an added advantage.

Job description

Responsible for the total maintenance of equipments machineries and facilities of the factory.

Plan, implement, monitor and control repairs and maintenance through preventive maintenance program.

Strive for higher efficiency and effectiveness at lower R&M and overall variable cost.

Continuously upgrade and improve machine capability and productivity.

Establish, implement and improve job performance and productivity in the Maintenance & Engineering Department.

Carry out project works for upgrading, improvement and expansion.

Ensure all fabrication and installation work complies with safety regulation and good engineering practices.

Responsible for establishing and maintaining the policies, procedures and work instruction of the Maintenance & Engineering Department and the Process Control (maintenance) and calibration requirements of the ISO 9001 standard.

To liaise with Government departments and to ensure all equipments are safe to be used under the government legislation (e.g. BOMBA, DOSH, TNB etc.).

To collect statistical data, analyst and prepare realistic budget for Maintenance & Engineering Department.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or equivalent.
  • Knowledge in Fibre-Cement Industry with 5 years manufacturing management experience is an added advantage.
