Job description
MAINTENANCE & FACILITY ENGINEER (CePSWaM or CePIETSO (PCP) competent)

Diploma or Degree in Science or Engineering OR SPM with 3 years’ experience handling scheduled waste OR SKM Level 3 + 1 year experience.

Holds a valid CePSWaM certification issued by DOE via EiMAS-approved provider.

Candidate with CePSTPO certification is an advantage.

Familiarity with national environmental legislation, waste management systems, and regulatory compliance.

Job Responsibility:

Identify, classify, and categorize scheduled wastes, ensuring proper labeling and storage.

Ensure legal compliance with Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulations 2005 and related laws.

Manage inventory and notification of scheduled waste using consignment notes and tracking systems.

Coordinate treatment and disposal with licensed facilities (e.g., recovery, incineration, secure landfill).

Handling Wastewater Treatment Plant Operation. (WWTP)

Collect samples and perform routine and special laboratory tests and analysis.

Maintain and complete the daily logbook and all other maintenance records of the IETS (Industrial Effluent Treatment System).

Prepare and submit field training reports and documentation to DOE for competency verification.
