Job summary

A leading cable manufacturing company in Kedah is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to oversee all aspects of plant production machinery and equipment maintenance. This role involves converting maintenance notifications into actionable work orders, liaising with external vendors to resolve machinery issues, and participating in safety and quality assurance activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong grounding in troubleshooting, PLC systems, and SAP, along with the ability to motivate team members and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with machine service and maintenance activities.
• Ability to convert maintenance notifications to work orders.
• Knowledge in handling DC Drives, inverters, sensors, and control wiring.

Responsibilities

• Ensure machinery and equipment maintenance activities.
• Liaise with external vendors for machinery issues.
• Coordinate with production on machinery breakdowns.
• Conduct daily breakdown reporting and root cause analysis.
