Overview

We are looking for a MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (E&I) at SELANGOR HALAL HUB PULAU INDAH INDUSTRIAL PARK SE, LOT 57 JALAN SUNGAI PINANG 4 3KS11, PORT KLANG, 42920, Malaysia. Permanent contract.

Oleon has over 1,000 employees worldwide in 10 countries and is looking for a Maintenance Engineer (E&I) to strengthen the Maintenance department.

As a Maintenance Engineer you are required to lead maintenance projects and provide substantive and technical support to the Maintenance team to increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and proactively guarantee production continuity with a focus on costs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards; identify and address potential risks
• Plan, execute, and optimize preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for electrical systems and instruments
• Manage calibration of instruments (flowmeters, temperature sensors, pressure transmitters, level switches)
• Support automation, process control optimization, and instrumentation upgrades
• Lead and participate in maintenance and technical projects, providing design and equipment input
• Coordinate and evaluate contractors, ensuring work is carried out safely and within budget
• Analyze recurring issues, conduct root cause investigations, and implement improvement actions
• Maintain accurate as-built drawings, diagrams, and technical documentation
• Supervise spare parts inventory and liaise with suppliers for quality and cost-effective materials
• Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to maintenance teams and E&I technicians
• Participate in daily production and maintenance coordination meetings
• Support asset management, condition-based monitoring, and risk assessments for production equipment

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor, Professional, or Master Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent, preferably electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering
• At least 3 years of proven experience in the related field
• Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative mindset with colleagues
• Open to new ideas and continuous improvement
• Knowledge of SAP is advantageous
• Willing to work in Pulau Indah, Port Klang
