Job summary

An aerospace manufacturing company in Seremban is seeking a Machinist to operate CNC milling and lathe machines, interpret technical drawings, and ensure high-quality standards. Ideal candidates have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience or are fresh graduates with appropriate certifications. This role requires teamwork and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, as well as compliance with company policies and maintenance of equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years experience as a machinist.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling and/or CNC lathe and related equipment.
• Set up and control multiple CNC machines.
• Maintain high-quality standards and tight tolerances.

What you’ll be doing

To be able to understand the Fanuc controller

To operate CNC milling and / or CNC lathe and related equipment where programs, fixtures and method have been developed.

Must have the knowledge to utilize the tool holders, cutting inserts and other machine function on he / or her daily job.

Able to interpret and understand technical drawings.

Must be able to understand and follow Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance standard ( GD&T)

Able to set up and control multiple CNC machine in a fast pace environment.

Able to work on rotating shift and multitask.

Must be able to comply to the measuring methods and equipment used for in process measurements.

Able to work as a team.

Meeting qualities standards and maintaining the tight tolerances.

Must be able to take instruction from his / or her superior.

To follow and maintain process time to achieve given targets

Must be able to upkeep clean work area and organize and proper care of company’s property.

Follow all company rules and polices.

Responsible for in process check to maintain a high level of quality and efficiency.
