Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Selangor is looking for a skilled CNC Operator with at least 3 years of experience in operating CNC Press Brake Machines. The role involves setting up and operating machines to produce precision parts, ensuring quality compliance, and collaborating with the Warehouse for smooth operations. Candidates must have a strong understanding of engineering drawings and safety procedures. This position requires a team player and is crucial for maintaining high-quality production standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience operating CNC Press Brake Machine.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of machinery set-up for different products.

Job description

• Set-up and operate CNC machine to produce precision parts


• Verify conformance of finished work piece to specification using precision instruments (Vernier, Micrometer)


• Responsible for operational activities relating to bending machines


• Liaise with Warehouse and Production to ensure smooth flow of material and component supply


• Improve and sustain housekeeping


• Support in training as and when required


• Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time

Role Requirement

• Minimum 3 years direct working experience operating CNC Press Brake Machine and in Metal Fabrication Industry.


• Possess knowledge and understanding of engineering specified tolerances


• Able to read and understand Mechanical Engineering Drawings (blueprints)


• Strong understanding of machine set-up, able to effectively change machinery for multiple set‑ups with the various products lines and material requirements


• Knowledge of health and safety procedures


• Physically fit to perform all required duties


• Team player, able to work with all levels

• Demonstrate ability to work on assigned welding works and its processes/activities, ensuring minimum errors and quality work in accordance to production deadlines


• Maintain safe workplace practices, adhering to the Company’s Health & Safety procedures at all times
