Job description

About the role
Technician M&E (The Exchange Park)

Technician M&E is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the park mechanical and electrical system. Your duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • To carry out routine work and scheduled M&E inspection and check list for electrical, mechanical, vertical transport, firefighting, natural gas and etc, in order to achieve daily, weekly, monthly and yearly objectives of the maintenance and preventive programs.

  • Close task/work order assigned via property management system in a timely manner.

  • Carry out inspection on park M&E and report any unsafe practices and/or any incompliance to the Park Manager.

  • Monitor services provided by contractors to ensure adherence to the quality standard.

  • Attend to and feedback/complaints.

  • Prepare reports of systems faults and/or trouble shoot finding for improvement works.

  • Undertakes any additional/ad-hoc duties assigned by A4 Chargeman and Park Manager as and when required.

About You
  • SKM/Certificate/Diploma (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electromechanical, Building Services)

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in M&E system maintenance, repairs and installation required for this role.

  • Must be a good team player with problem-solving efficiency and interpersonal skill.

  • Computer literate.

  • Good interpersonal skills and able to build good working relationships at all levels.

  • Proactive, independent, team player, organised, work under pressure and to meet deadline in multi-tasking environment.

  • Must be able to work rotating shift 24x7 (based on their roster), weekends and Public Holidays.
