Job Summary
The Logistics Process Analyst is the key driver of operational efficiency within the Global Trade & Product Compliance (GTPC) function. This role focuses on streamlining current processes, ensuring processes remain compliant, efficient, and scalable. By leveraging process mapping expertise and continuous improvement methodologies, the ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end process mapping, identifying ‘waste’ and standardizing processes across our operations.
Responsibilities
Process Mapping & Optimization
- Map and maintain comprehensive end-to-end global trade and product compliance processes (e.g. import/export flows, product compliance processes, documentation flows).
- Conduct deep-dive analyses of current processes to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and process gaps.
- Recommend and lead targeted improvement projects using continuous improvement methodologies to improve efficiency.
- Support process standardization and harmonize trade management practices across different markets.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures, Process Maps, Work Instructions, and control checklists, ensuring they are updated, accessible, and audit-ready.
Digitalisation & Strategic Project Support
- Facilitate the transition from manual processes to digital platforms (systems, automation tools) by defining the ‘to-be’ process states.
- Prepare process-related materials and facilitate design workshops to align stakeholders on new digital workflows.
- Collaborate with Logistics Systems Analyst to ensure technical solutions align with optimized physical workflows.
- Support process-related workstreams of global and regional transformation initiatives.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Change Management
- Collaborate with procurement, export and import, compliance and warehouse teams to ensure seamless upstream and downstream process alignment.
- Facilitate continuous improvement workshops and discussions with regional stakeholders to capture localized requirements.
- Act as the go-to resource for process-related inquiries and guidance for the wider GTPC department.
- Develop training materials and conduct coaching sessions to embed a ‘continuous improvement’ culture within the GTPC department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, International Trade, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in a process optimization or operational excellence roles.
- Strong familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, Agile, PDCA, etc).
- Exposure to retail operations, global trade, customs, import/export, or product compliance processes is highly advantageous.
- Ability to translate complex, messy real-world operations into clean, logical diagrams.
- Strong ability to articulate the ‘why’ behind process changes to diverse stakeholders.
- Comfortable to work independently in a fast-paced, cross‑functional environment.
- Adaptable, with an eagerness to take on varied responsibilities and new challenges.
