Job summary

A logistics company in Johor is seeking a Logistic Customer Service Executive to manage communications between customers and internal departments. Job Description

As a Customer Service Executive/ Officer, you will be the link between the Customers/Client, the Operations department (planning) and the Sales department. You will act as the point of contact and arrange everything regarding the orders correctly and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Being link between the customers/Clients, the Operations department (planning) and the Sales department.
  • Answering / processing incoming e-mails and calls by telephone.
  • Finding out customer needs in telephone conversations.
  • Building customer relationships through open and customer-oriented communication.
  • Providing accurate, complete (product) information to customers.
  • Daily coordination with Shipping Agency on import/export shipment and customs related issues/documentation.
  • Accepting and administrative processing of orders.
  • Managing communication with suppliers and colleagues from sister companies.
  • Placing orders with suppliers/sub-contractor based on information from our Haulage system.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound transport.
  • Arrange everything regarding the orders correctly and efficiently.
  • Knows the needs of your customers and can anticipate them in advance.
Qualifications / Requirement
  • Speak, read, and write fluently in English.
  • Able to speak, read, write & type in Mandarin (Handling Client from China) will be advantage.
  • Able to work Mondays to Saturday (5.5 days / week).
  • Able to work from 8.30am to 5.30pm & willing to work overtime.
  • Experience in Logistic and Customer Service.
  • Customer-oriented and experienced in communicating at different levels.
