Key Responsibilities
1. Transportation & Lorry Planning
- Plan daily lorry scheduling for loading and unloading of goods.
- Coordinate transport arrangements based on customer orders and delivery priorities.
- Liaise closely with lorry drivers to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
- Monitor driver performance and adherence to SOP.
2. Coordination with Customers & Vendors
- Communicate delivery arrangements, timing, and special instructions with customers.
- Liaise with forwarding agents, transporters, and customs officers when required.
- Handle logistics enquiries and resolve delivery issues promptly.
3. Vehicle / Fleet Administration
- Monitor renewal of road tax, insurance, PUSPAKOM inspection, and permit validity.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle documents and maintenance schedules.
- Arrange vehicle servicing, repairs, and ensure vehicles comply with safety standards.
4. Shipping & Logistic Documentation
- Prepare and verify delivery orders, consignment notes, and transport documents.
- Manage customs forms (e.g., K1, K2, ZB forms) and coordinate with forwarders for clearance.
- Ensure proper record-keeping and filing of all shipment-related documents.
5. Operational Support
- Support warehouse team on loading plans and transport readiness.
- Monitor logistics cost and assist in identifying improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in any field
- Minimum 2–3 years experience in logistics or transportation planning
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently and handle urgent operational matters.
