Job summary

A major financial institution in Malaysia is looking for a Financial Institution Sales Analyst/Associate to join its Local Markets Sales team. You will execute transactions across Equities, Rates, FX, and Credit, engaging with various financial institutions. Candidates should have a Finance degree and at least 2 years’ experience in a treasury dealing room. Strong analytical, communication, and relationship management skills are essential. As a Financial Institution Sales Analyst/Associate in our Local Markets Sales team, you will be at the forefront of executing multi-product transactions across Equities, Rates, FX and Credit. You will engage with a diverse range of financial institutions, including banks, insurance companies, asset managers and government‑linked investment companies. Your role involves collaborating with trading, structuring, and banking partners to deliver comprehensive client coverage, market updates and intelligence.

Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop key client relationships, executing across Equities, Rates, FX and Credit products.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in understanding market drivers and identifying product opportunities.
  • Drive client revenue growth by developing account strategies and prospecting new clients.
  • Collaborate with trading, research, and banking partners to provide comprehensive client coverage.
  • Ensure superior attention to detail and adherence to JPM's business code of conduct.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • University degree in Finance or related field from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a treasury dealing room handling financial institution clients.
  • PKMC/PPKM License holder.
  • Strong foundation in treasury products.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills for problem‑solving and solutioning.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong team player with the ability to partner well within the team and with external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of BNM's FEA regulations and their application to client situations.
