A financial services company in Selangor is looking for an experienced Loan Operations Specialist to manage loan applications and ensure compliance with regulations. Responsibilities

• Process loan applications in the loan management system.
• Review loan documents to ensure accurate completion.
• Ensure compliance with KYC and KPKT regulations.
• Contact applicants for incomplete documents or applications.
• Provide disclosure paperwork as required by government agencies.
• Evaluate credit reports and prepare loan files for the credit team.
• Perform daily payments reconciliation.
• Communicate with lawyers and agencies to facilitate loans.

Job description

• Responsible for processing loan applications in the loan management system
• Review loan documents to ensure their accurate completion within the service level
• Ensure the authenticity of all documents and meet Know Your Customer (KYC) and KPKT compliance regulations.
• Contact applicants in a timely manner when documents or applications are incomplete and Ensure that post-loan closing and servicing are supported.
• Provide applicants with disclosure paperwork as required by government agencies
• Obtain customer consent and pull, review, and evaluate credit reports and prepare loan file for credit team review
• Perform daily payments reconciliation and facilitate early collections
• Communicate with lawyers, borrowers, agencies and other groups to facilitate loans or collections.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience in loan or credit operations in financial services or insurance industry
• College Degree or Diploma required
• Strong communication skills in Bahasa and English
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and PowerPoint / Google Workplace – Sheets and Slides.
• Excellent organizational, teamwork and time-management skills
